reallly depends on wat u gonna study........and also depends on wat kinda visa u get.....coz if u manage to get a student visa then i wonder if u can work....coz according to that students aren't permitted to work in a country....so many people apply for working visa........hope this helps!!!!...

sweden has a very stabile social system, but since you are from india I dont know if you can go easy to sweden because you need either a study/work permit or a so called "schengen visa" both require some proof of enough money. but if you work in sweden to cover your study expenses you will earn enough money because sweden and many other european countrie have a high hourly wage , even if you only work at starbucks or mcdonalds etc... If wish you good luck with your study!

How much tax I'll pay if I'll work as cook in Stockholm, Sweden with gross salary of 18000 kronas (2000 euro)

How much tax I'll pay if I'll work as cook in Stockholm, Sweden with gross salary of 18000 kronas (2000 euro)?
I'll be temporary Sweden resident and as I know should have 25% salary free of taxation. And for last 75% tax rate should be 25%? Am I right? Of course 18000 Korans per month. Sure!

It is far more complicated that. If 18000 SEK is your total income for the year you should not have to pay income tax. If you earn 18000 SEK per month a rough estimate would be 30% tax on the part of your income exceeding 24000 SEK every year.

Is it true that Swedish workers get 1 year off work and hey still get paid

Is it true that Swedish workers get 1 year off work and hey still get paid?
Someone told me that in Sweden, they work for a year or two then they get 1 year off work, and thet get paid 80% of what they would have made if they were working. Is this true?

Sort of, and not any more. It was an experiment, and only ran for a couple of years. The participants recieved 85% of the _unemployment benefit_ they would have received if they were unemployed (which is certainly a lot less than 85% of their salary!) but were guaranteed their job back at the end of it. The idea was that long term unemployed people could take their place, get current work experience, a current reference, and a year of good earning, while people working could take a year off to do something they found interesting, without risking losing their job over it. The scheme ran as a limited scheme(10 cities) from 2002 to 2004 initially, then as a state scheme (nationally) 2005 to 2007. It was finally shut down after the change of government at the last election, and there was quite a lot of criticism that the scheme didn't reach the right target groups among other things. There were several academic studies going on around it, to study the effects on job seekers, the people who took a year off, how it affected the businesses that were involved etc.

he can move there whenever he wants because germany is in the eu. and he can work up to 3 months without needing any permit. if he finds work there the employer will fill the papers he needs for getting the permit.
