it depends on your blu ray player whether it region 1 or 2

Blu-ray discs are classified into 3 regions. Region A includes most North, Central and South American and Southeast Asian countries plus Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. Region B includes most European, African and southwest Asian countries plus Australia and New Zealand. Region C contains the remaining central and south Asian countries, as well as China and Russia. Since UK and Sweden both fall under 'Europe', it will most likely work. If not, however, there are software 'hacks' you can google up on your particular model which will allow it to play all regions, but I don't suggests you mess with it unless you know what you're doing.

I live in the UK and bring DVD's back home to Sweden all the time. They work perfectly fine.
