My sister wants to do MS in Sweden.After she completed her MS.Can she work in sweden?
I heared that she has to leave sweden after she finish her studies..Please advice..what is the chance for her working in sweden?

How can I get work in sweden
How can I get work in sweden?
Hey everybody I ve been in sweden for 7 months and I am looking for a job as a Computer engineer. Although there are alot of vacancies posted everyday but no one need only english speaker. Anybody know ,if there are international companies where swedish language isn't essential?.

It's hard. There is a website called www.thelocal.se You can ask on the "discuss" section there. btw almost every job in sweden requires you to speak swedish. Swedes can already speak great english and other languages so why would they hire you when you can only speak one? Why are you living there if you are not going to learn swedish anyway. As an immigrant you are entitled to 240 hours of free swedish lessons. Also Swedish people try very hard to avoid employing foreigners and there is high unemployment is sweden even amongst swedes. Why are you living there?

Well you could try going to Arbetsförmedlingen, they can help you. But it will be hard if you can not speak swedish. Good luck though (:

Socialism does not work long term. Short term you can borrow and spend but long term, the bills come due and people wont work hard because they feel entitled to everything for free.

I don't really see the connection rape -socialism, but I'll give it a try anyway. In the last 10-20 years or so the view on rapes have changed dramatically in Sweden, and also the attitude towards reporting rapes to the police has changed. In many parts of the world this is usually seen as something shameful, something that is best to keep quite about. Women in many countries are repressed and hushed. This is slowly starting to change here in Sweden. Women are getting stronger and more independent and thus have more courage and strength to report rapes, and the state help them in this quest. This is probably why the amount of reported rapes has hit the roof in recent years. The sad truth is probably that the numbers are equally high or maybe even higher in other countries, but this is not brought out in public, this is hushed and hidden in the dark. So sure, maybe four times as many REPORTED rapes than Germany and France, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there are four times as many rapes going on in Sweden.

Social system in sweden how does it work
Social system in sweden how does it work?
Sweden is very respectful country... the human standard is very high and they do alott to help it citizens unlike most of the capitalism countries and please can you tell me if capitalism and socialism can work together Sweden looks like Social Capitalism country is it true or false?

yes, all those northern european countries have systems that allow for free enterprise while also taking care of its most needy citizens. if you go there, you will find no homeless people, education is free all the way through college, health care is free, etc. yes taxes are higher but the standard of living is also higher, paychecks are higher to offset the taxes, and many things we have to pay for are free anyway. it works very well.

Sweden consists of at least 90% ethnic Swedes and has the population of New Jersey... about 9 million. Compare that to the demographics of the US and the 300 million+ population. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Sweden doesn't have the world's most powerful military like the US and Sweden has little responsibilty around the world except for taking care of themselves. Sweden does not have a massive illegal immigration problem. Imagine making the US a welfare state like Sweden and having 30 million+ illegal immigrants leech off of it.

it only works because they have very few poor people. they are almost all very smart, because the average scadinavian speaks perfect english as well as their native language. america cannot afford to take money from hard working people and piss them off to feed masses of lazy morons who are parasitic and weak

I'm 18yr old and swedish. It's true that our country is based on social-capitalism. The government do alot to help citizens, compared to other countries such as Russia. However, they have been transferring ownership of business from the public sector (government) to the private sector (business) latetly becuase our taxes isn't high enough. Welfare is very costly. Hmm, and I don't know why we are selling very profitable companies to America. We have very high taxes. They are f*cking insane. Many of our immigrants are not integrated in the swedish society and most of them do not work and live completly of our welfare system. This is not good to swedes or the economy. But our economy is going up, not down at the end of the year. Our living standard is pretty high. You will not find any homeless people, except the ones who can, but don't pay the bills. If you want to start a company, don't go to Sweden. ----------- The employer need to pay 30% payroll tax. As an employee you pay around 30% on remaining money. 25% TAX on the most products. It's also 25% on food if you eat it in the restaurant. But if you take the food with you, or buy it in a food store then It's 12%
