theres not really a guarantee,but if it doesn't,you can contact Microsoft or send it in to the customer service place or call the number listed with it

I am fairly certain that certain games only work for certain regions. For example, a North American game only works on a North American console. Or a Japanese game won't work on a European console. At least, that is how it worked on the PS2. I am not sure about the current generation of consoles.
